Iconic barrel form. Nordic craftsmanship.
Classic barrel design in Canadian hemlock or red cedar. Naturally insulating, naturally antimicrobial, naturally a landmark in your garden.
Nordic Barrel is designed in Norway, manufactured by NÖR's long-standing wellness-equipment partners, and shipped to you with full local certifications for your market.
Every unit goes through a 48-hour bench test under load before crating. You receive the QC dossier with photos before it leaves the factory. We ship when it's right — not before.
Det følger med din Nordic Barrel.

What makes Nordic Barrel a NÖR.
Iconic barrel design
Visually striking and naturally insulating. The curve produces optimal heat retention and a recognisable Nordic silhouette.
Canadian Hemlock or Red Cedar
Premium kiln-dried wood selected for low resin and high dimensional stability across temperature swings.
Ice or chiller
Use with ice fill for an old-school cold plunge experience, or add the Arctic Chiller for daily maintenance.
Naturally antimicrobial cedar
Cedar's natural oils inhibit microbial growth, reducing reliance on chemical sanitation.
Compact footprint
Suitable for backyards, terraces, and wellness rooms — fits where a rectangular plunge wouldn't.
Therapy outcomes
Daily cold immersion supports nervous-system regulation, recovery, and resilience.
Yours to configure — before we build it.
The iconic barrel — its curve retains heat and cold naturally and turns any garden into a landmark. Kiln-dried Canadian wood, cut and assembled to order.
Where Nordic Barrel thrives.
Why NÖR costs more — and why it’s worth it.
Anyone can sell you a cheaper, faster tub. Here’s exactly what the difference buys you — and why it lasts for decades instead of seasons.
| NÖR | Cheap, fast alternatives | |
|---|---|---|
| Interior | ✓ 316L marine-grade stainless — lasts decades, won’t crack, stain or leach | Plastic or acrylic — cracks, stains and degrades in a few seasons |
| How it’s made | ✓ Made to order and bench-tested 48 hours under load before it ships | Mass-produced, pulled off a shelf, never individually tested |
| Insulation | ✓ Insulated shell holds the cold — lower running cost | Thin-walled — loses cold fast, costs more to run |
| Garanti | ✓ Multi-year warranty, serviced locally by real technicians | Limited or no warranty, and no local service |
| Support | ✓ A real NÖR specialist in your timezone, before and after the sale | Ships and forgets — good luck reaching anyone |
| Levering | ✓ Gratis tracked freight + monthly financing (Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay) | Freight surcharges and no financing |
Built for you — not pulled off a shelf.
Your Nordic Barrel isn’t sitting in a warehouse. It’s made to order and bench-tested for 48 hours under load before it’s crated — and you receive QC photos before it leaves the factory. Cheaper sellers ship faster because they ship generic; we ship when it’s right, with free tracked freight, specialist support, and a first-use call.
